These guidance notes
have been produced by CDEC with support from Cumbria Early Years
Partnership. They result from 'Making Sense of My World', an initiative
that focused on the area of Foundation stage learning 'Knowledge
and Understanding of the World'.
The guidance notes present
an approach based on child-led learning through enquiry and adult-child
interaction. This approach can help to support children's learning,
improve self-esteem and is an approach which can run through all
areas of teaching at Foundation Stage.
