CDEC's main centre of operations is in Ambleside at University of Cumbria, but we also have three outreach bases - in Carlisle, West Cumbria and Barrow - ensuring that our resources and expertise are available throughout the county. These bases serve as administrative bases for our outreach project workers as well as hosting a selection of resources available to borrow.

To visit the base: please email the Ambleside office ao that we can arrange a mutually convenient time for you to visit the base.
For resources: Ring Ambleside and request resources. The staff at Ambleside will either pass on the request to Carlisle or send resources from Ambleside.
We have a small library of resources, with a large number of resources to support Philosophy for Children.
