We send out a hard copy of our newsletter as many are used on display, however if you would prefer to download an electronic version please let us know so that we do not send you paper unnecessarily.

Carlisle Diocese RE Artefacts Collection Print E-mail
 

CDEC is now home to the large collection of artefacts and resources that used to be housed at the West Walls resource centre in Carlisle.  The collection of over 30 boxes arrived with us a couple of weeks ago and now that we have found space for them all they are ready to be sent out to schools on request.  This fantastic collection of RE resources is a definite boost to our resource base and includes boxes on; Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism, Hinduism, Islam and Sikhism. Over the next few months these boxes will be added to our artefact and topic box collection, all of which can be borrowed when you subscribe to CDEC.

 
Marketing Volunteer Needed Now! Print E-mail

Marketing Volunteer - Needed Now!!!! 

The Marketing Volunteer will link with the Marketing Strategy Group at CDEC to raise the profile of CDEC with target groups including; schools, community groups the general public and potential partners. This will result in increase support for the charity at all levels enabling greater engagement in global issues across Cumbria.to support in the re-organisation of our resource library - popular with schools and community groups across Cumbria.

So if you are interested in global learning and want to gain some experience with global education and further develop your marketing skills - please contact us now. This role includes opportunities to join us on our CPD courses and in the classroom to see global education in practice and of course help us at CDEC to make a contribution to 'Global Learning for a fair and sustainable world'.
