From the South: Leave the M6 at Junction 36. Take A591 for Keswick/Ambleside. University of Cumbria is on the right as you leave Ambleside, immediately after the turn to Kirkstone Pass.
From the North: Leave the M6 at Junction 40. Take the A66 to Threlkeld and St. John’s -in- the -Vale and then the A591 to Ambleside. University of Cumbria is on the left as you enter the town, opposite the Police Station. 

CDEC is in the white building beside the Armitt Museumt.
