CDEC will be hosting a Cumbria wide conference for schools involved in global school partnerships, which will be held at Rydal Hall, Ambleside on 10th & 11th July. The purpose of the two day event will be to;

* share ideas, practice and approaches on curriculum based linking
* hear from overseas partners about their experiences of linking with Cumbria
* celebrate achievement in school linking across Cumbria
* build recognition of the potential for school linking to support teaching and learning on global citizenship, identity and diversity, and community cohesion.

Included in the event will be presentations from schools in Cumbria who have overseas links, presentations from overseas partners and a number of guest speakers.
