Do you need help from the Cumbria Community Integration Project?

Jan 9, 2019

If you have a number of pupils that are from families that have English as an additional language (EAL), the Cumbria Community Integration Project can help!

The Cumbria Community Integration Project, led by AWAZ  Cumbria, aims to improve the integration of migrant and settled communities in Cumbria.

The project is engaging with local school clusters via the Cumbria Alliance of System Leaders. They are identifying additional support required for the families of EAL pupils to improve the English language spoken at the home, then working with Adult and Community Education to provide bespoke support, and with Early Help and Children’s Social Care.

AWAZ Cumbria is delivering the programme of activities in  partnership with Cumbria CVS and CDEC.
