Map Your Meal

Map Your Meal

Map Your Meal was a three-year project that helped young individuals to understand the impact of global food production on people and the planet.

It also supported them to join an international community of young people, youth leaders and educators committed to act for a fair and sustainable world.

We worked with Austria, Benin, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Ghana and Greece with funding from the EU. Within Cumbria, we organised and joined a range of events including a photograph exhibition, film screenings and food fairs. We also ran workshops for youth leaders and community educators to support them in exploring the concept of citizenship and to give new ideas for activities, all with a global twist. By the end of the project, an app to explore the origins of food had been created and we had developed the Map Your Meal activity toolkit, which you can download here.

Map Your Meal was an EU-funded project.
