Global Learning, Strategic Vision and Ofsted 2019: Developing your school’s strategic direction

Global Learning, Strategic Vision and Ofsted 2019: Developing your school’s strategic direction

Gain valuable skills to align the 2019 Ofsted framework with your school through adopting the strategic direction global learning can give your school.

Join us for an afternoon one-off training session for headteachers and governors, co-facilitated by Alison Hooper, headteacher and global learning advocate, from Egerton Primary School Cheshire, and Cumbria Development Education Centre.

We will look at how global learning aligns with the new Ofsted schedule for 2019 and how global learning can influence the vision and enhance the ethos of a school and the role of governors.

You will come away from the course confident that you have:

  • learnt about global learning and how it can contribute to your school’s strategic direction
  • been inspired to think how global learning can enhance your school vision and ethos, and deepen the role of the governors
  • developed the skills to use global learning to develop the strategic direction of your school
  • gained an insight into how you can be supported by CDEC to achieve this vision for your school.

When? Friday 28 June, 1.00-3.30, Ambleside.

Cost? £40 per person, or £70 for two people from one school.
