Using tried-and-tested learning and resources from our Sankofa storytelling project, this course will build pupil oracy and develop understanding of global issues.
Outcomes:
- To discover how stories can be used to develop understanding of global issues and perspectives and empower young people to create new narratives for the future
- To gain skills in Storytelling for teachers and pupils to inspire oracy, listening and drama
- To support pupils to think critically about stories they hear in the world today
- Understand how the storytelling methodology can also be used effectively in geography, history, and PSHE
