Story activities: Be inspired and make your own story

Apr 22, 2020

This week we bring you story time from our Sankofa: Storytelling for the Digital Age project. Listen to the tale of Tiddalik, make your own frog and tell your own tale. And while we are here, learn about frogs from around the world!

In partnership with our Sankofa: Storytelling for the Digital Age project, lets start to tell some tales! First listen to the story of Tiddalik, a story that comes from the ancient Aboriginal people of Australia. Then follow the activity sheets to make your own Tiddalik, and to discover the world of frogs.

The 29th of April is the worldwide Save the Frogs day. If we all have a better understanding of our wildlife, including our frogs, we are in a better position to know the threats to them and so help to save them.

We also have the fourth in the series of Hometalk from Dialogue Works. Use this to encourage your children to talk about the world in which they are living, to express their hopes and fears and to build a confident and curious mindset.
