We are very happy to announce that CDEC is one of the Co-op’s good causes for the next year!
Do you shop in the Ambleside, Hawkshead or Grasmere Co-op? If so, you can help make a difference to the young people of Cumbria just by doing your shopping!
What is the cause?
We are raising money to support our Cumbrian Youth Leaders Network- a network where young people who are passionate about the environment and the climate can share, learn and develop collective action. The solutions and ideas they co-create will result in sustainable actions that will support wellbeing and environmental health. These young leaders will personally benefit, but so will their schools, groups, and communities.
How does it work?
When you become a Co-op Member, you can choose a local cause to support through your membership. As you spend on Co-op products and services, you'll also be contributing to your chosen local cause. If you shop at the Ambleside, Hawkshead or Grasmere Co-op, we would love if you could choose CDEC as your cause and help us to support and empower young people across Cumbria.
