Global Schools project ends leaving Cumbrians as brighter global citizens
After three years of growing and developing Cumbria’s commitment to global learning, the EU Global Schools project is coming to an end. The project has worked closely with both teachers and children in a network of schools, tried to influence education policy at a county level through engagement of the LASLs and the LEA, and worked with partners in Europe to share expertise, lessons learnt and build solidarity.

Who isn't concerned about the wellbeing of our young people? And that of our planet? We developed this course to help you help your children deal with the pressures and challenges of everyday life. And we've linked it to exploring the wellbeing of our society and planet to try and understand how they are connected.

The Queens Commonwealth Essay Competition – encourage your students to express their global citizen voice. The longest-running international writing competition is once again open for entries. The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition is looking for under 18s who wish to express their hopes for the future, thoughts on the past and opinions on the present through the written word.
