Futrureproof Cumbria has been working towards its vision of a zero carbon Cumbria for more than 20 years. The charity runs practical projects and events across the county to help people, communities and businesses to live and work more sustainably.
Their vision is a zero carbon, greener Cumbria by 2037 that is good for people, places and livelihoods. They help people, communities and organisations tackle the climate crisis by promoting action and supporting change.
CDEC and Futureproof work together on youth and climate projects including the Youth Climate Summits.
