Strengthening our schools as welcoming and resilient communities for refugees and people seeking asylum
Cumbria Development Education Centre (CDEC) and Furness Multicultural Community Forum (FMCF) have developed CPD sessions for teachers and workshop sessions for pupils on the theme of refugees, people seeking asylum and migration. All of the sessions being offered have been funded through the Cumbria Community Foundation and Awards for All.

Green PLACE: Thinking with Nature training
When is a place a community? What is nature? Experience the power of exploring nature and place through the practice of Philosophy for Children (P4C). These practical and creative one-day courses are provided by SAPERE P4C Trainers and outdoor education specialists as part of The Green PLACE project.
